Established in 2019, our waffle taco concept started as a humble market food stall in Akoonah Park, Berwick, before quickly expanding to the suburbs of Melbourne. The response was overwhelming, and we knew it was time to take our waffles to the big city.
In just 12 months, we made the transition to a shopfront in the bustling Melbourne CBD. But our timing wasn't without its challenges. We opened our doors at the start of the COVID pandemic and lockdown in 2020, but we never lost faith in our product and its ability to bring joy to Melburnians during such a trying time.
With hard work and determination, we weathered the storm and emerged stronger than ever. We moved to our first flagship and in Melbourne Central in 2021, but our passion for quality and taste never wavered and was strong enough to ride out the tsunami wave that Melbourne Central threw us in.
Our team includes experienced staff from some of the best restaurants in the city, including Stokehouse, Bistro Guillaume, Rococo, and Pure South, Left Bank, and many more. They bring their expertise and knowledge to every waffle, taking the Scoffle Waffle experience to a whole new level.
Our vision extends beyond Melbourne. We want to share our joyful brand and delicious waffles with customers from all corners of the world. We believe in the power of food to unite and bring people together, and we're passionate about sharing our enthusiasm and energy with our customers.
